I can’t quite believe it is December already! If you are anything like me, Christmas has snuck up on you!
We have compiled a gift guide, that works for both the men and women in your life, to help you catch up on your Christmas shopping, and hopefully inspire you with some gifts you hadn’t thought of before.
Each category has a higher priced and lower priced item to suit all budgets.
Remember, christmas shopping shouldn’t take up your whole Christmas season and you should never go into debt to buy gifts – Christmas should be filled with Family, Friends, Hallmark Movies and festive activities you will cherish and remember for years to come!
The Practical Gifts;
££ – I think one of the best practical gifts you can buy for a loved one is a dash cam for their car. Both Simon and I both invested in dash cams this year, as it seems the roads are only getting more dangerous these days!
The UK’s leading dash cam manufacturer, Nextbase offers a range of simple and easy to use dash cams with HD quality video recording, with a unit sold every 22 seconds over the final week of Christmas last year!
£ – For a lower budget item for a man in your life, what about the new limited edition Mach3 gift set (RRP £17.99 ) in both Chrome and Black (exclusive to Boots) which includes additional cartridges, a shave gel and, for the first time, a stand for the razor – making it an ideal gift for Christmas!
Gillette has introduced the stand to Mach3 series as a recent survey from Gillette shows 96% of consumers would rather display their razors on the stand, as to avoid it interacting with other bathroom surfaces.
As such I think this makes a great practical gift choice from a top brand.
The Fashion Gifts;
I feel that winter fashion is much less trend driven than other seasons, and therefore you should invest in a few quality pieces that will see you through year after year. It also means that gifted clothing and accessories are a great idea.
££ – Nothing beats cashmere for quality and warmth, but it can get pricey pretty quickly. That is why I love TKMAXX, which has a huge cashmere range online and in store.
£ – BUFF Lifestyle: Top quality winter bobble hats from leading sports head and neckwear brand Buff. Available in a wide variety of colours and styles, the Buff range has something for everyone. Prices range from £20-£45
The Special Treat Gifts;
££ – It is great to treat people at Christmas to those special items they would never usually buy for themselves. Gin continues to be a huge trend, so why not buy some beautiful crystal glassware for the Gin Lover in your life?
Simon and I have these which we love;
Dartington Crystal – Glitz Gin & Tonic Pair – £45.00 – they have Swarovski crystals to give that extra dose of glam!
£ -For a spa day in a box, check out Vie Healthcare’s NEW Moroccan Hammam Spa gift pack
With Beldi Black Soap, Rhassoul Clay from the Atlas Mountains and Argan Oil, it’s the perfect spa gift. The set comes complete with an exfoliating kessa glove and ethically sourced coconut spoon. So everything you need really!
Hopefully this list inspires some purchases that will be loved by your friends and family!
